Doug Del Pizzo

Doug is currently working as a freelance Lighting Designer, Assistant, and Draftsman
in both theater and corporate events in the DC Metro area. He is a graduate of
Elon University with a Bachelor's degree in Theatrical Design & Production.
As an artist, Doug draws from his love of photography into his designs with special attention to incorporating contrast, color saturation, and the power of a well-placed shadow. He also holds a strong passion for interdisciplinary projects that push creative boundaries, inspires critical thinking, and/or reflect on our current world. There is always a way to connect art to the world we live in.
When not working in lighting, you can find Doug running watching Marvel movies for the 12th time, drafting friends' apartments to help them re-arrange, or playing video games with friends.
