Les Miserables Film - Levine School of Music
Amidst the Covid-19 Pandemic, Levine School of Music took on filming an outside version of Les Miserables. With over 30+ performers filming over 7 days outside, their goal was to create a filmed version of the show that allowed a new variety of performance for their program. The performers had the chance to professionally record the audio ahead of time, allowing for a safer filming process.

Filming was done on an outdoor stage in Maryland over the course of a week. Each scene was thought out to the time of day we wanted to shoot in. This allowed us to utilize the natural light and landscape in addition to the theatrical equipment.
Woolly Mammoth Dinner on Stage 2019
Woolly Mammoth Theater Company's annual Dinner on Stage for donors, company members, staff, and more. The event traditionally uses the entire building as its event floor, with the stage being it's dinner on stage being the main event. Small performances throughout the lobby, tours into the backstage areas, costume shops, and an afterparty in the scene shop.
Re:View
Re:View is an intermedia project that eliminated the barrier between on-camera and off-camera work. Both cast and crew will be visible simultaneously during the project’s live performances, creating a one-of-a-kind blend of video, dance and music. It was conceived as as a student-led collaboration exploring “how choreographic elements inform aesthetic choices.” The project will give the audience a behind-the-scenes view of the typically hidden aspects of live event production.

During rehearsals and performances, I cued the show live each night. I had a couple cues pre-programmed in for structure and specific moments, but other than that, I changed my design each night in front of an audience.

TEDxElon University
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.

I was fortunate enough to be the Production Designer for TEDxElonUniversity 2017. The event carried a theme of Wishful Thinking, which was open to interpretation by our presenters. TED has always fascinated me with innovative thinkers and I aspire to one day do a TED Talk of my own.
